Gourmet shop El Cisne

Conceived as a place dedicated to the sale of gourmet products and wine tastings, this shop in the Old Town of Vigo is transformed into ‘El Cisne’.

We started from premises that had another activity, in which the original wooden beams had to be repaired and treated, and all the previous furniture had to be removed to leave the stone walls uncovered and the ceiling acoustically insulated.

As the premises were small in size, the aim was to generate a feeling of spaciousness by reducing the internal divisions to the toilet area and placing the displays of wine, preserves and crafts from Galicia in such a way that they would not detract from the stonework. As it is located in the Casco Vello, its original façade, woodwork and signage had to be preserved, so it was repaired and repainted.
